Rainy Day Fun

Krista and I made plans to go to The Huntington on Friday, but after seeing that rain was on the way, we decided that we would stay inside to make sugar cookies and let the kids decorate them.

The kids and I still managed lunch at In-N-Out (albeit with a 35 minute wait at the drive-thru due to the rain) and then it was off to Krista's house.

They had a great time just playing on the floor
Helene and Krista's little girl are just a few weeks apart
Hannah decided she wanted to help roll out the cookie dough
LOVE the flour all over her shirt and jeans
The girls had fun decorating cookies and it was fun to have
Grace and Ellie over to play too
So cute!
Then Krista bought out a parachute for even more fun
And there was also a little bit of hiding
Love this picture!
Who knew some ribbon could provide so much entertainment?
Today it was still pouring, so after
Sammy's haircut this morning,
we were off to McDonald's for breakfast and a little playtime
As always, there was some grouchiness from Hannah about wanting to play with one of Sammy's Matchbox cars that he brought, but not liking the one he gave her
And as always, she was over it about 5 minutes laterSammy was in action pretty much the entire time
Back home for Helene's naptime...and hopefully one for me as well!
