Sam came home from the hospital yesterday at 6pm. His intestine freed itself on its own and everything started working again. I'm just glad that we didn't have to do surgery.
He's on a clear liquid diet for 2-3 days (so pretty much water, apple/grape/cranberry juice and broth only). He's not happy about that. He was envisioning a pretty huge meal for his first taste of food in 3 days. I guess the gluttony will have to wait.

I hadn't looked at your blog since Tuesday, and I couldn't believe it. Back at the hospital. I'm glad to hear your husband is doing a lot better. You really need to find a better place to hang out :).

That sounds really scary! Glad to hear it sorted itself out. Wow it's a good thing you have insurance huh! Can you imagine with all the stuff that's been going on with your family lately? I love when they send you the bill and it's like you do not owe 9,760.76. You do owe a 10 dollar co-pay, we always get those, My heart always skips a beat when I see the big number.....

Yea...Sam going with out meals...reminds me of the fasting during labor. Of course he had to do it for DAYS. Poor guy.
