You can never have too many trains...

My mom had heard about a train exhibit at the Nixon Library, so we decided to meet up there last Tuesday, along with Mark and Mariann and their family.

It did not disappoint. This lego train exhibit was amazing!

And that was only part of it--there were a lot more lego cities, but I didn't get pictures for some reason. The kids seriously could have watched the different trains go by all afternoon. So fun!

At the next exhibit they didn't allow flash photography (which made no sense since they had blinding spotlights on the exhibit), so most of my pictures turned out blurry.

Mesmerized

They had an interactive exhibit where you could
press a button and make a light go on, or make a train stop, etc.
Luckily, everyone got a turn.

After the trains, we walked over to where the Marine One that Nixon flew in is parked.
There was a line to walk through it, so we attempted a few group pics of the kids to keep them entertained while we waited in line.

And I, of course, had to do my Nixon imitation.
"I'm not a crook!"

After the Nixon Museum, we ate lunch and then headed over to a Children's Museum in La Habra that Mariann had remembered going to as a child. It was great!

The kids had so much fun driving a bus...

digging for fossils...

filling up a car with gas...

checking out a caboose...

hanging out with Mariann and a few animal friends...
WHEW!!! It was a busy day for everyone but we had so much fun!! Off to San Diego tomorrow!
