Update on Sammy

Just a quick update on Sammy. I think we are finally at a good place in his recovery. He slept last night from 10:30pm-4:00am and then 7:00am-10:30am and he isn't waking up screaming in pain just quiet moans that he hurts. He has been happily playing on the floor with his cars and doing puzzles and scoots himself along the floor with his legs dragging behind him to get whatever toy he wants (as long as it's a fairly short distance). Although he still prefers to order me to get whatever he wants...

He is still a bit high strung and prone to tantrums which I think is a combination of frustration since he can't walk or really move around, being uncomfortable and the constant pain and stiffness. I'm really hoping this new temperament goes away quickly. He seems to freak out over anything and everything that doesn't go his way.

Anyway, both he and Hannah are asleep for the night (YAY!), so I am off to bed to catch up on some much needed sleep.
