The week began with...

...an impromptu Cinco De Mayo celebration at Lacy Park--thanks to Sherri for initiating it. You can read more about it here. Dana gives a great recap...and makes some yummy ice cream cookie sandwiches! Here are some of the few pictures I took.

Hannah is totally into hanging on the bar before going down the slide. She hangs for quite a long time considering she is a hefty 32 lbs. Strong girl!

I just can't resist that darling face!

Sammy and Lauren on the swing together--so cute!!

Tuesday we met up with Nicole, Savannah and Cole at the zoo after Sammy got out of school. It was a lot chillier than I thought it would be and Hannah was an ABSOLUTE nightmare. She's at that age where she refuses to sit in the stroller and wants to walk, but won't stay with you nor follow directions. So back in the stroller she goes, kicking and screaming. Gotta love this age! Also, I must note that the Spider City exhibit is now closed, much to Sammy's dismay.

After corralling children for close to an hour, we decided to just go the play area of the zoo and let the kids run around.

Can you see she still has that bruise from last week?

Here's Savannah in the most fabulous jeans!
Hannah had a pair too but was WAY to fat (um, I mean chubby) to get into them, so I sold them on Ebay.

Hannah passed out on the way home and took a nice long nap--YAY me!

My parents were flying into LAX that night, so I drove out to pick them up. Time to return the mini-van. Sniff Sniff...farewell my new friend. They had a fabulous time--I can't wait to see the pictures! When I returned home from the airport I saw this and just HAD to take a picture.

Yes, he is sleeping with his Hot Wheels cars. The white one is "Chevy" and the blue one is "Audi"

I love that picture of Hannah coming down the slide at the zoo. Perfect expression on her little face.
